UQ Factor Stakeholder Influence Program

Organisations with a strong sense of their UQ Factor understand their community’s perceptions and are engaged in open, two-way dialogue. They enjoy greater success, less delays, and fewer issues caused by activism. What is a UQ Factor? It’s what makes a company or individual unique – it’s why they do what they do – it’s how they communicate with others – it’s what gives them their unique, competitive edge.

Why the UQ Factor Stakeholder Influence Program is for you

Communities are becoming increasingly demanding in their need for officials to engage in meaningful dialogue; they want their needs understood; they want local representation in the planning process. Business must engage local communities much more intimately to gain trust, increase buy-in, and earn on ongoing licences to operate.

Research reveals that despite the advances in technology and social media, word-of-mouth remains the key source of business leads. In the modern business jungle it is harder and harder to stand out so you must define and leverage your UQ Power in order to be remembered and talked about.

Companies need to contribute to community development and ensure equitable and culturally appropriate means of engagement through their corporate social involvement programs. Without the ability to communicate with power, confidence, and consistency, they will not be able to influence their stakeholders and gain their trust.

What’s included in the UQ Factor Stakeholder Influence Program

Our UQ Stakeholder Influence Audit provides insight into the way stakeholders experience your people and organisation and what they feel about how you do business. A critical element of any successful Corporate Social Involvement Program is first understanding what stakeholders think about you now, how much trust and influence you have and where you want to grow it to in future.

This Program uncovers how to ignite people’s thought processes and how to influence others using scientifically-proven verbal and non-verbal techniques. You will also learn how to implement effective and transparent engagement and communication with stakeholders through open consultation processes.

The Sustainable Neighbourhoods Program provided support to communities to plan, through local Sustainable Neighbourhood Groups, and make changes that will reduce their ecological footprint – neighbourhood by neighbourhood, contributing to an overall City–wide reduction.
