Gaga is certainly a great study in branding. That "magnificently unique" is a great point. Most biz owners don't want to stand out and be controversial.

You raise a really good point here Sue that often the best brands are polarising and people either love them or hate them. What most business owners make the mistake of when creating their brand is trying to please everyone.

Outrageously unique is a great description of Lady GaGa! I really like the way you talk about being magnificently unique! Love her little monsters web site and unique email idea. So creative! I also appreciate the book tips Heidi!

This is a phenomenal video, Heidi! So many great nuggets here but I especially love your point about boring brands having to work harder and be more pushy to get sales. This is so true! Love it!

Definitely something to think about. I do need to learn how to stand out and definitely need to come up with a name for my tribe. Thanks for the info.

That she is "magnificently unique" is a great point.

I love that she has a tribe! (and I'd love to hear more about tribes in another blog post please?)

And that you mention the importance of delivering of a superb service.

Really great video and case study!!
